NOTICE OF POSTPONEMENT
FARMINGTON FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT

The Farmington Fire Protection District Board Meeting is postponed due to a lack of quorum. As of May 19, 2025, three board seats are vacant, leaving only two seated directors—insufficient to conduct business under Gov. Code §§ 54952.6 and 54955.

Vacancies are being addressed pursuant to Gov. Code § 1780. The San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters has been notified of the resignations. The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors is engaged in appointing a qualified public member to restore quorum, as permitted under § 1780(f).

A new meeting date will be posted once quorum is reestablished, in compliance with the Brown Act (Gov. Code § 54950 et seq.).
