Who We Are
The Farmington Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. (FVFD, Inc.) is a nonprofit association committed to enhancing the safety, resilience, and spirit of our community. Our members are local residents who donate their time, resources, and efforts to support the Farmington Fire Protection District and engage in service-driven initiatives.
The association is made up of the firefighters and community members of the Farmington Fire District. Established in 1948, FVFD, Inc. has been in continuous operation as a nonprofit organization dedicated to community service and fire department support.
Our Mission
To foster community service, promote volunteerism, and provide financial and logistical support to the fire department — all while strengthening connections with the residents of our district.
Our Goals
- Support training and equipment needs of the Farmington Fire Protection District
- Promote a culture of volunteerism within the community
- Host public events and fundraisers such as the Annual Pancake Breakfast
- Administer local scholarships to encourage higher education and civic involvement
- Provide outreach and support to residents during emergencies and special occasions
The Farmington Fire Protection District and Farmington Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. (FVFD, Inc.) are separate and independently operated entities. FVFD, Inc. is a nonprofit association and is not affiliated with, nor does it operate under, the authority of the Farmington Fire Protection District.
